LitCon is the largest K-8 literacy conference in North America—celebrating its 40th year! The conference is brought to you by the Reading Recovery Council of North America (RRCNA) for the broader literacy education community.

We welcome all in the K-8 community with a passion for literacy education, including classroom & EL teachers, literacy coaches & specialists, school administrators, Title I teachers & coordinators, curriculum & language arts specialists, interventionists, Reading Recovery professionals, college/university faculty, media specialists, and school psychologists.

Only sessions that require payment or a ticket need to be selected at registration, including preconference workshops, Leadership Institute, and the Big Win. You can RSVP for additional session options, such as Featured Sessions, in the conference app once the full schedule is released in Fall 2024.

Separate paid registration is required for each Preconference Workshop and the Leadership Institute. You may register for these workshops during the conference registration process.

Members of the Reading Recovery Council enjoy a discount on all professional development events. You must have an active membership at both the time of registration and for the duration of the event to receive the Member rate. If your membership should expire prior to the event, you will be invoiced the difference. Click here to check your membership expiration date.

Cancellations submitted in writing before December 15, 2024, will be refunded the cost of registration minus a $75 processing fee for each registration. After December 16, 2024, no refunds will be given; however, you may transfer your registration to another individual from your organization through January 27, 2025. All cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to info@literacyconference.org. No-shows will be invoiced and subject to collections for the full amount.
